Having recently started her first job as a fully qualified nurse, Nicola has been able to buy her first car - a Suzuki Swift. I assume she went for Black because it's extra hot in the summer.
This afternoon I drove through the newly opened 4.8 km 'Clem Jones Tunnel' - the 'Clem7'.
It runs north-south under the city and river from Bowen Hills near the Royal Brisbane Hospital, to south of 'the Gabba' near the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Can't say it will be used much by me as I rarely go onto the southside but it should get some trucks out of the city.
Within the next year or two the 'Airport Link Tunnel' will be opened and that's going to be 6.7 km!
