1st Day Lord Howe Island. Sat. 17th January

A 2 hour flight to LHI from Brisbane.
This place is a paradise.
Only 380 people live on the island and there are only 400 hotel rooms. No high rise. Only a handful of cars. NO mobile phones! Several superb restaurants - and a lift back to your hotel at the end of the meal!
traight down to Ned's beach after picking up our bicycles.
Across the lagoon to Mt. Gower - 875 m (2,870 ft)
On to the jetty in the evening to watch the sun set.
