To Choeung Ek about 15 km. out of town, site of one of the main Killing Fields . There were over 300 of these death factories in Cambodia between 1975 and 1979.
A modern pagoda holds over 8,000 skulls from this partially excavated site.

There were bones and teeth literally sticking out of the pathways around the pits.
