Arrival at Kushok Bakula Rinpoche Airport, Leh, Ladakh. Temp. minus 15°C.

We were to set off and walk the Chadar - the frozen Zanskar river - for 3 weeks.
Leh has a spectacular Gompa on the hilltop and a Fort perched over the town.
It's at 3,500 m. so an acclimatization day was required.
