A 'rest' day in Tingri. We had this view of Everest with the summit plume streaming away to the east - the jet stream creating very ugly conditions up there.
Many of the Tingri households had these solar heating devices for the kettles. They were brilliant and efficient.
We also got this fantastic view of Cho Oyu, 6th highest mountain in the world at 8,201 m.
