We left Kathmandu mid morning having met up with 2 other travellers who were planning to climb Everest. A Mongolian climber who spoke not a word of English and Juan, a doctor from Spain who spoke excellent English.
On the outskirts of Kathmandu we stopped for curry lunch.
That night we stayed on the Nepalese side of the border in Kodhari.
